Windamere delivers the big Yellas

The final qualifier was held at Lake Windamere over the weekend.  Jackall Mask Vibes and Transams in Ghost Black Red Belly did the trick close to the edges for  both JMH Spinnerbaits and Parkes Optical Services  hopping them back along the bottom and Loomzy’s Fish N Fix targeted trees that were under the surface vertically slow rolling Gulp Grubs on 1/4 oz jig heads.

Great weekend although a little wet. A total of 287 Yellowbelly were caught and released with an average length of 510mm. A big thank you to all the Anglers and Sponsors that supported and participated in the 2015 Series, it’s been a great year.

Just returned from the latest round of AYC held at Windamere Dam. We set ourselves a goal to persist on Jackall Australia Mask Vibes and Ecogear Australia ZX blades, trying to locate fish on points and weed edges. Very happy with a 2nd place finish. Big congrats to JMH spinnerbaits team for taking out 1st place. They have perfected a technique that has an amazing knack for catching big fish. Congrats to Browny and Loomzy on their 3rd place. Another consistent result. And also to Brad Gardiner and Mitchell Skeers and Josh Kopp and Josh Kinhorne for their 4th and 5th place finishes. Big thanks to Paul Dunford for another fun weekend. Thanks also to Charlie at Parkes Optical Services for your continued support. Bring on the Grand Final in December!
