2022 Garmin Freshwater Series Round 4 Winners!

Windamere was again the venue for Round 4 of the AYC Fishing Tournaments Garmin Marine Freshwater Series held on the 11th & 12th of September 2022 where 53 teams competed.

Even though the weather conditions were a little trying during the weekend the Garmin Freshwater Series still produced a good number of catches with some teams hitting their limit of 8 fish and continuing to fish to upgrade their catch size.
 
AYC Fishing Garmin R4 1st Prize WinnerTeam Day Release continued their awesome year with another win at the 4th round of the Garmin Marine Freshwater Series Windamere. Orange boys Josh Kopp, Jake Kopp and Michael Collison finished with a full limit of 8 for 4412mm an average of over 550mm.
The boys fished shallow grassy banks for active fish using Jackall Australia Squirrel 67SP’s, Daiwa Australia Infeet Spike 44MR Minnows and Daiwa Steez Soft Shell Vibes. Congratulations to the guys on a fantastic year, securing top place in the Burrendong Grand Final and taking out our 2022 Team of the year. 🐟🐟🐟.
 
AYC Fishing Garmin R4 2nd Place WinnerShaun and Justin from Team Wheelers Fishing fished with Jackall Australia Suspending Jerkbaits to get the job done finishing with 8 for 4393mm just 19mm behind Team Day Release. Well done boys and was great to see you both up the pointy end in such a very large field.
 
 
Dane and Rhys from Bait N Shake started the last session in 29th position with AYC Fishing Garmin R4 3rd Place Winnerjust the 3 fish but moved up the leader board fast on Sunday to secure 3rd place. Well done lads, biggest move we have ever seen in an AYC event. Pays to always keep plugging away,
