Ladies Cod Classic

2019 AYC No Cods Copeton Cod Classic

Copeton Dam is Australia’s premiere inland murray cod fishery. It is famed among many anglers as a mecca for giant murray cod and its no surprise why, it is common to see multiple catches of those magic fish over the meter in a single session and also hosts a huge population of small to medium sized murray cod, fat golden perch, silver perch, redfin and eel-tail catfish.

This unique event is going to be very exciting and action packed as the best Murray Cod fisherman in the country go head to head to battle it out for first prize. This can only be won by the team who catches the largest Murray cod for the 36 hour session. The anglers will be casting or trolling hard to nail that monster from Friday night following the briefing through to 9am Sunday morning when we break for a catered breakfast. We will hold the presentation and then following this the giant raffle draws will commence. We finish off with the MEGA DRAW where one lucky Angler will win $5000.00 worth of fishing tackle and accessories.
