Round 2 GARMIN Freshwater Series – Glenbawn

A very cold Glenbawn was fishing a bit tough for Round 2 of the 2021 Garmin Freshwater Series. 48 Teams fished the tournament with 151 Bass taken to the scales, the average weight being 0.73kg. Congratulations to Bearded Lips – Steve McDonald and Ben Scotman who took the win with 11/12 Bass for 11.30kg. Their success came from Jerk Baits fished really slow fishing. Second place went to Team Black Magic – Tim Price and Michael Poulton with the only full limit of 12/12 for 9.09kg. Locked Drag N Picture Mags – Raymond White and Shannon Pumpa picked up third place with 9/12 Bass and 6.32kg. We look forward to seeing you all at Round 3 Windamere back on the Yellowbelly on the 28th & 29th August 2021.

Round 1 GARMIN Freshwater Series – Burrendong

A great way to kick off the 2021 Garmin Freshwater Series at Lake Burrendong over the weekend. 53 teams battled it out in tough fishing conditions with team Chasin Tail (Mitch Skeers, Nathan Skeers & Warren Gardiner) getting the win. The boys finished with a total of 4161mm for the best 8 Yellowbelly. In second place was Blade N Tails (Aaron Graham & Andrew Hawke) who finished with 4033mm. Third spot went to team Jiggin (Kai Gray & Geoff Clarke) with 3995mm which was a great effort as they were unable to fish on Sunday.

53 Teams participated in Round #1 with 128 Yellowbelly being measured over the 2 day event.

Round 3 GARMIN Freshwater Series – Windamere

” FULL” results – 59 teams fished Round 3 of the GARMIN Freshwater Series at Windamere. 255 Yellas were weighed, the average fish weight was 520gm. Wilson Fishing Big Yella went to “Chasin Tails” with a solid 610gm.

Round 2 GARMIN Freshwater Series – Glenbawn

” FULL” results – 57 teams fished Round 2 of the Garmin Freshwater Series at Glenbawn Dam. 165 Bass were weighed, the average fish weight was 0.73kg. Wilson Fishing Big Yella went to “Scrub Boys Daniel Finn” with a solid 50cm. Big Bass went to Team Why Knot, Justin Evans and Kevin Curtis 1 Kg

Bluefin Boats Glenbawn Round 2

Here are the ” FULL” results – 47 teams fished the AYC Glenbawn Round 2. Glenbawn fished pretty well with 311 fish measured, the average fish length was 39cm. Wilson Fishing Big Yella went to Loomzys Fish N Fix with a healthy 54cm.

2018 Australian Yellowbelly Championship Grand Final

The 2018 Grand Final has been run and won! Congratulations “Racked Up”.

Stuart Smith, Jack Robertson and Mark Donnely weighed 10 from 10 for a total weight of 45.43, Team Venom  finished in second place.
